We made this weighted blanket with our medical grade nylon. This blanket and all of our medical grade nylon weighted blankets are used in hospitals, clinics, psychiatric facilities, dementia and nursing homes. Our top quality materials as used in all of our weighted blankets feature a special heavy duty cotton weight that's been sewn directly into the blanket and does not require removing in order to care for it.
The blanket cover material is a cotton/polyster blend easy to remove from the blanket to wash/dry then returned to the blanket. To clean this medical grade nylon, spray it with your sanitizer and wipe dry. All of SensoryCritters are made in the USA and none are made with any choking hazzards such as glass beads, poly pellets, beads, beans, or like.
